Learning to do the Twitter Bug

Today's subject is a bit off my pet topic. You might find this happening from time to time in this blog, but I'm sure I can still find a way for me to make this animal related!

In our PR class today we were introduced to Twitter!  This was my first try at it, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.  Similar to texting but only 140 characters allowed. This should force me to get to the heart of what I am trying to say.  No rambling aloud here. These are going to be really really short messages!

I also found out that there is something called flash fiction. This is also done on Twitter, and using the same 140 characters, stories are created and sent out. Sounds difficult, but once you get the hang of it is quite fun.

One of the people I am following on Twitter is The Dog Whisperer - Cesar Millan.  He recently announced that he will be touring Canada.  Winnipeg was not originally part of the tour but the owners of a Winnipeg company Urban Canine are trying to get him to change his mind! Hopefully I will be able to find out via Twitter if and when he does make a decision on this matter.  I'll keep you posted on Twitter @ekotrrc - follow me today!
